Skylar Miller

Miller, Skyler

Bio

Skylar Miller joins Boston Hockey Academy for his first season as an Assistant Coach with the U18 team. Born and raised in Chandler, Arizona, Miller brings both high-level playing experience, and his deep passion for player development to BHA. He began his hockey journey competing for both the Junior Coyotes and Arizona Bobcats, where he earned the title of captain and led his team to a U16 NAPHL championship. At 17, he made the choice to leave home early and moved across the country to start his junior hockey career with the New Jersey Rockets, spending multiple seasons in the USPHL Premier division. Skylar’s juniors performance earned him a spot at Salem State University, where he played over 100 career games at the NCAA Division III level. All while graduating with honors. Known for his leadership and consistency on the ice, Skylar now brings that same commitment and passion to the coaching world. Leaving home early to pursue his hockey dreams makes him eager to draw on that experience to connect with players and support their growth both on and off the ice. With a strong foundation in high-level competition and a player-first mindset, along with carrying a unique perspective and deep empathy for BHA student-athletes, Skylar is excited to embark on his coaching journey.
