Little Dukes Learn to Skate/Play
Start your child’s hockey journey this winter with the Little Dukes Learn to Skate & Learn to Play program this winter. Skates are held on Sunday mornings at Breakaway Ice Center, Tewksbury. Registration is open now.
Whether your child is lacing up skates for the first time or ready to pick up a stick, Boston Hockey Academy’s Little Dukes program offers the perfect introduction to the game. Running from November 30 through March 29, these Sunday 8:10 AM sessions are designed to build confidence, skills, and a love for hockey in a fun, supportive environment.
What to Expect:
- Split-ice format tailored to skill level:
- Learn to Skate for ages 2019–2020
- Learn to Play for ages 2017–2018
- Location: Breakaway Ice Center, 20 Carter St, Tewksbury, MA
- Cost: Just $100 for the full winter session
- Dates: Weekly sessions from late November through the end of March (see full schedule online)
Each session is led by experienced coaches who focus on foundational skating techniques, basic puck handling, and building teamwork—all while keeping it fun and age-appropriate. Whether your child dreams of being a future Duke or just wants to glide across the ice with confidence, this is the place to start.
