Head Coach, 14U Academy Team
A Pittsburgh native, played for the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite, Pittsburgh Esmark Stars along with Mt. Lebanon High school. After high school Jordan was drafted in the NAHL. Playing juniors in Helena MT, and Dubuque IA, Michael went to play for UMass Boston NCAA D3. After college he decided to further his hockey career professionally. Jordan played in the Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL), Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL), Central Hockey League (CHL), and the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL).
Throughout Jordans professional career he helped coach many youth organizations in the cities which he played. After an injury that lead Michael to his retirement he decided to coach. He began coaching for the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite. Michael also taught skills along side of Tyler Kennedy (Tyler Kennedy Training) and Chris Dyment (Chris Dyment Hockey).
Jordan coached the Boston Hockey Academy U15 inaugural season as John Lizzotte’s Assistant. And is very excited to take on the Head Coaching position this season for the Boston Hockey Academy U14’s.
Academy Skills Coach
Chris starts his second season with the Boston Hockey Academy. Chris is both an accomplished player and coach. He was a standout defenseman at Reading High School as well as at Boston University. While at BU, Chris was named to both the NCAA All American and All Hockey East teams. Selected by the Montreal Canadians in the 4th round, he went on to play seven seasons of professional hockey in the AHL, including two years with the Providence Bruins.
Prior to joining the Boston Imperials, Chris was an NCAA Div 1 Assistant Coach, which included positions at Bentley University and Boston University. At the junior hockey level, Chris served as Assistant Coach of the Islanders Hockey Club NCDC team (USPHL) as well as the same role with the NH Jr. Monarchs (USPHL). A native of Reading, MA, Chris resides in Burlington with his wife and two children.
